RAY CHARLES, Clinic Cat
Ray Charles is our practice manager. He keeps us all in line. Ray can be found sitting atop the counter at the front desk most days. His hobbies include eating and digging through the purses of our female clients. He is often confused for a pregnant female. (Ladies, watch your bags when you come in.) 

KIMBERLY WAITES: Veterinary Technician, Kennel Manager,Groomer

Kim has been at BSVH for 6 years.  She has multiple jobs here at BSVH.  She techs, grooms and takes care of kennels.  She lives in Louin with her family; her daughters, Emmy, Abby, and Kayla and too many dogs and cats to list! Her 3-legged cat, Trey, is one of our favorite patients. 

JAMES ROY SIMS: Groomer, Receptionist and Kennel Assistant

James Roy, our youngest employee, has been with us for 3 years.  He also has multiple jobs here.  He grooms, kennel work, and also helps out at the front desk.  He grew up in Bay Springs and lives with his dad, Jim, and younger brother, Sam, and his dogs: Maylyn, Myles, and Marley.  James Roy knows EVERYONE in Bay Springs. 

MARY HAMMONDS, Office Manager:

Mary joined us in August of 2007 as a receptionist and a veterinary technician. She lives in Montrose with her family.  She is certified in Phlebotomy and brings four years of medical experience with her to BSVH.  At home she loves to fish, observe wildlife, paint and sew.  Her pets include, Luke, Lily, Dixie, Annabelle, T.T. and Prissy.
 
SHANNON KANAYURAK (pictured w/Molly Grace),  Groomer and Kennel Assistant:

Shannon is back.  Shannon previously worked with BSVH for 8 years.  She has over 8 years of grooming experience and a lifetime experience with animals.  Shannon loves working with animals and it shows.  At home she loves to work in her yard, read books and watching Molly Grace play with her toys .  She is a Bay Springs native and now resides in Antioch with Fred and there dogs Molly Grace and Max.

Wendy Landrum:  Receptionist/ Kennel Assistant

Wendy is one of our receptionists and kennel assistants here at BSVH.  Wendy came to us in May of this year.  She brings a great smile and love in her heart for all the animals.  She lives in Mize with her husband Chris and her 4 dogs, Dutchess, Lil Bit, Max and Bo.  In her spare time she loves to read, landscape her yard and of course giving love to her animals.

Gale Smith:  Veterinarn Technician

Gale is one of our veterinary technicians here at BSVH.  Gale came to us from Snoopy's Animal Clinic in Oxford, MS.  She brings with her 7 years of veterinary experience.  Gale resides in Hot Coffee with her husband Bobby and her 4 dogs Brandi, Stanley, Scruffy and Brutus.  She is a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church.  In her spare time she loves to go antiquing.  Her favorite things to collect are dog statues.
